I want to climb faster Coach?
I can't tell you how many times I have heard that question over the 10 plus years of coaching and development. I often hear from new and existing client that I work with that one of their goals for the year is to be able to climb faster. And my response is, "well, it is Time to Train with Purpose".
First, let me explain the 6 factors that we need to address from the start to get a better understanding of what is required to be successful in climbing.
In order to climb faster, we must train the Cardio Pulmonary System to deliver more oxygen to the working muscles. The efficiency ratio must be increased in order to meet the demands of climbing, and once again, this process takes time to build.
